“hi-line is one of the best crafted and produced Americana records I’ve heard in a long time. You and the band's performance rings true and authentic throughout. And, even the album design is stunning and well suited for the overall tone of the material. If I was ever fortunate to see Lucinda Williams or Brandi Carlile in concert, I would want you to open the show!” --Paul Felice, WFDU Radio
AMBERLY CHALBERG
Denver based Americana singer-songwriter Amberly Chalberg’s full-length album, Hi-Line, is intentionally raw and honest. Rooted in the vast landscape of Montana‘s Hi-Line region, the album is a collection of stories about relationships, whether taking them for granted, speaking the hard truth, or apologizing when we‘re wrong. Hi-Line is a reminder that our decisions have consequences and that, in the end, relationships and how we treat one another is what matters. The 12-song album was tracked live at Mountain House Studio in Nederland, CO with members of Merle Haggard and Lucinda Williams’ backing band. From alt-country “The Whiskey Song,” to bluesy “Crazy Bout You,” to small-town anthem “Lil Bit Country,” to folky-singalong “Wishing Well,” fans of Bonnie Raitt, Brandi Carlile, Nikki Lane, Sturgill Simpson, and Ryan Bingham, will find plenty to love about Hi-Line.
